Brian Ferguson: Owner
Brian grew up in Texas. When he was 15 years old, he started working with his dad who was a commercial duct installer. When he graduated from high school, he attended Texas State Technical Institute in Waco, Texas, where he completed the HVAC certification program.
Throughout that time, he worked in the HVAC field. In 1988, Brian moved to Nashville. In the summer of that year, he began working for a large local HVAC company as an installer and later as a service technician. In May, 1990, he made the decision to launch his own HVAC Company.
Over the past twenty years, Southside Air Conditioning has grown to a well established and respected residential HVAC company in the Nashville area. Brian still does most of the repair work himself and handles all quotes on new systems. He is also on-site for installations. He enjoys the personal interaction with homeowners and strives to have each installation completed as though it were his own home.
Joan Ferguson: Office Manager
Joan grew up in Arkansas and moved to Nashville in 1985 to attend Free Will Baptist Bible College. She graduated in 1990 with degrees in Secondary Education-English and Missions. She and Brian married in August of 1989. Joan was working as an office administrator at that time.
She quit that job in December of 1994 to stay at home with their kids and take over the management of the Southside Air Conditioning office. Joan is usually the one who answers your phone call and takes care of all scheduling for maintenance, repairs and installations.
Dave Franklin
Dave retired from Delta Airlines in 2006. He has a natural aptitude for home repairs and maintenance. He joined our team in 2008 as a part time employee. Dave helps with repairs, installs and maintenance of systems. He is a delight to have on our team and all of our customers enjoy his attitude and professionalism.
